As a huge Art collector and lover, Michel Rostang likes places with a soul and wanted to make more attractive the 4 dining rooms of his restaurant with his personal collection. Thus the restaurant is an intimist place and welcomes you in somptuous decorated rooms which can of course be privatized for your business or personal meals.
A simple and private room decorated with “Art Nouveau” objects. The light goes through a marvellous glass ceiling, enlightening the room decorated with sconces and enamelled works of art. A really romantic atmosphere.
This room is dedicated to the glassworker masterpieces Lalique. You will be surrounded by original pictures of Lalique in the mouldings, by 1920’s sconces and by Orient Express reproductions.
The atmosphere here is more art Nouveau; with the delicate tapestry d’Aubusson, you will make a journey between the two world wars.
This dining room can be isolated and privatized using two marketery panels.
The room adjoins the kitchen where you can see every action through a picture window. In the middle of the room, you cannot miss the huge bookcase made of solid pear tree where Michel Rostang arranged 200 Robj porcelain figurines (1900-1940).
It is a contrasting atmosphere but between the intimacy of a collector room and the view of the lively kitchen, your will be here favoured.
It is the main room of the restaurant where violin sculptures of Arman meet Niki de Saint Phalle lively mosaics. An astonishing César’s compression gives to the room its structure.
